How Does It Impact Us?

MAIN DOOR PICKUP IS BACK
The main door is back to being the pickup door. We have a ALCOVE here with a very good two way intercom and a pass thru area where we can take payments from the windowed wall (No Contact). At your appointment time just come into this area (as long as no one is already in the area) please if you are able to wear a mask we ask that masks be worn as this is inside our building and in a common area.
PICKUP TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
An appointment is required (Booked at least one day in advance) to pickup from Tuesday to Friday. The main reason for this is so we have your items READY for you in the front alcove before you enter the building. Everyone gets 5 minutes to pay for and pack up the items then we lock the doors, get the next persons stuff, unlock the front door and the next person is ready to go. Without the advance bookings it would take us 10+ minutes for each person and at times lines would form outside as they due Saturday Morning. We wish to avoid this and so do you! It’s not fun, especially with the cold weather coming! In and Out efficiently and safe is the best way. No one wants to be standing around waiting in a line with a mask on. Please book an appointment and wear a mask when entering out building as instructed by the government mandated rules.
PICKUP ON SATURDAYS
We have no appointment necessary on SATURDAYS at this time. If you book an appointment we will have your items ready for you so it will speed things up however it is a first come first serve. If you have a LOT of items to pickup please book an appointment so we have them ready (If not we may ask you to step out as we serve other customers and have you come back when we have collected your items). We will retrieve your items and instruct you to open the second door. You will find another small area zoned off with a portable wall unit, a rack will be in this area with your items on the rack. Please do not touch the wall or the rack if you can avoid it. TIP: It is BUSY here for the first hour on Saturdays, if you come later in the day it is very slow! Please wear a mask and observe social distancing rules. At times on saturdays a line will form outside the main door, in this situation it is important everyone has a mask on and everyone is 6+ feet away for other customers. For those who are concerned with lines and being outside in the cold we suggest picking up during the week by appointment.
LOCAL DELIVERY WAS SUSPENDED (Last local delivery will be September 17th/18th 2020)
As less people are using our delivery service these days we are winding it down but will start it back up if covid has a second wave and deliveries are required once again. At this time it is not cost effective to offer this service as to few people are taking advantage of the service the last few weeks.
PICKUP TIMES ADJUSTMENT
We will be adjusting our hours to 10:00am to 2:00pm from Tuesday to Friday and Saturday will remain 11am to 2:30pm starting Tuesday September 15th.
STARTING SEPTEMBER (SATURDAY PICKUP)
Saturdays will no longer require a pickup appointment booked, Pickup will still be 11am to 2:30 pm on Saturday however we ask that if you are not booking a time on Saturday that you restrict pickup drop in times to 11:00am to 2:30pm as we do not want a rush right when we are closing up for the day. We are going to try this and see how it works as most people pickup from Tuesday to Friday by appointment so we do not have to DIG to find peoples items come Saturday and our storage area is finally thinning out some so we have some more space so we think we can make this work and bring a little more normality back. Please wear your face masks when picking up as other customers may be picking up at the same time and even if you are not concerned lets keep other people feeling safe. If you have a medical condition like copd or acute asthma etc… and can not wear a mask we STRONGLY encourage you to book a pickup time during the week and not come on Saturdays just to help keep each other safe and comfortable.
AS OF AUG WE WILL HAVE A 10% BUYERS PREMIUM
We hate to do this but we need to, to stay competitive and adequately staffed. Now with this we are working on a better quality control we hope to implement with this.
STORAGE FEE’S AND LATE PAYMENT FEES
We are no longer waiving LATE PAYMENT fee’s and STORAGE FEE’S. We now have curbside pickup and that looks like it is going to be the normal thing now until a vaccine is available for Covid19. We may loosen the rules a little if the virus really starts to fizzle out on it’s own but for now this curbside pickup is working so you have no excuse not to pick up your items or have them delivered or shipped. If you do have a valid reason then open a support ticket and let us know and we will deal with special requests one by one.
Online payment by EMT (Email Money Transfer) or PAYPAL is available. We also have TAP/FLASH, CASH, DEBIT, CREDIT, APPLE PAY and ANDROID PAY all available on pickup. We have a nice new wireless terminal that we use that we can easily sanitize and it fits in our pass through box to keep our pickup zero contact and safe for everyone.
We are using the SIDE DOOR not for consignor drop offs. Please DO NOT COME EARLY OR LATE as you only have 20 minutes to unload then the next person arrives and we need at least 10 minutes to prepare for the next consignor. We need to remove your rack from the drop off area and tag it and date it as it goes into quarantine for 3 days. Then we need to get a empty rack and reset the drop off area for the next person. We are using portable walls to create a safe drop off area however a MASK is required for ANYONE entering our building doing pickup or drop off.
