WHEN BRINGING IN ITEMS
Consignors here are some tips for you when bringing in consignments.
- Type a numbered list by email or support ticket and send it to us ahead of your arrival (We will print it and have it ready when you come in)
- Clearly number each item/lot to match the list (do not put two items for the same lot in two different boxes/bags
- Describe any repairs or damage
- Include measurements if needed
- Clean the items (No sticky, Smelly or storage dirty items please)
- Aim for 20.00 or more (do you think this item will at least get 20.00 or more in the auction) if you are not sure we can assist you. Unsold lots cost you 4.00+hst per each unsold lot and must be picked back up. Please try to avoid this with higher value lots.
- No collector plates, clear glass stemware or barware or garage sale leftovers (some things are just better thrown away or donate to a local thrift store) and please avoid miss matched box lots or stuff like amazon returns or non higher end clothing. Higher value good condition common size clothing such as leather jackets and designer names are fine.
- No large furniture or chairs or tables (If it is teak mid century we will make an exception if the condition and quality is good. anything else please ask)
- Minimum of 10 items per consignment drop off please.
- Regular consignors must maintain a 20.00 Average sale price.
AFTER THE SALE
Any unsold items must be picked up (preferably the week of the auction pickup) if you need to store them with us a 2.00 per lot for small item lots will apply to each item in storage per week. This is another reason why we ask that you aim for 20.00 lots and not stuff that will sell for under 20.00 it is not good for you or us to have any unsold lots.
When you items have sold (check you “My Consignments” page) just contact us and ask us to do a payout for you (We do not do this automatically) and let us know how you wish to be send your funds. Options are….
- INTERACT EMAIL MONEY TRANSFER (EMT) sent to your email with a link or you can set up auto deposit with your email money transfer settings in your online banking… just enter your email in the auto deposit setting found in the interac email money transfer settings when logged into your online bank (Remember to let us know your email if it is different then what we have on your buyers account)
- PAYPAL (You will need a paypal account set up to use this option)
- CREDIT ON YOUR BUYERS ACCOUNT (If you buy from the auction we can just add the payout as a credit to your buyers account for future purchases – please do not ask us to do this on pickup. Please give us 24 hours as we do need some paperwork printed and sometimes other work is involved in cashing out a consignor account and we want the pickups as smooth and quick as possible for everyone picking up)
Sorry we do not pay out cash or cheque any longer.
If you can not send us a typed list that we can copy and paste from then you can bring in a hand printed list (clearly printed) and a 1.00 per lot charge (Invoiced on your buyers account) will apply for each listing to be converted to text so we can copy and paste it into the descriptions. If you do not wish to lot the item up and list them yourself you can bring them in for us to lot up for you however the commission rate will be much higher for this extra service.
